Seeking an experienced and dynamic Production Manager that have a proven track record of successfully managing large teams, building cohesive and high-performing units, and fostering a positive and collaborative culture within the production department. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of optimizing production processes and driving continuous improvement.

Description

• Lead and manage a large production team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure optimal performance and productivity
• Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that promotes collaboration, innovation, and employee engagement.
• Develop and implement strategies for team building, skill development, and talent retention.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the production department, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes, reduce waste, and enhance overall operational performance.
• Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence
• Effectively manage production resources, including equipment, materials, and manpower, to meet production targets and timelines.
• Monitor and analyze production metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
• Contribute to the development and execution of the company’s production strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
• Drive initiatives to enhance production capacity, scalability, and flexibility to meet changing market demands.
• Provide input into budgeting and forecasting processes for the production department.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements throughout the production process.
• Implement quality control measures and corrective actions to address deviations and improve overall product quality

Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience as a Production Manager in a materials industry setting.
• Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performance production teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
