• Ensure that workshop facilities are kept clean and tidy and that equipment is in good condition.
• Ensure all work safety conformances adhere to all times.
• Ensure that production tasks are carried out in accordance with the company’s Quality Management System.
• Verify the quality of work produced by machine operators at the appropriate process of each job.
• Check quantity and quality of incoming materials against appropriate order.
• Store raw materials in allocated areas.
• Resolve quality and production problems as necessary.
• Directs the routine maintenance and set-up of machines, equipment, and facilities.
• Ensure stocks of raw materials received are in accord with the relevant stock order.
• Ensure that stock is store appropriately.
• Perform daily checks to ensure that standards are being met.
• Effectiveness of the quality management system
• Ensuring the quality policy and quality objectives compatible with the strategic direction and the context of the organization
• Ensuring the integration into the organization’s business processes
• Ensuring that the quality management system achieves its intended results
• Supporting other relevant management roles to demonstrate their leadership as it applies to their areas of responsibility

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee day-to-day factory operations e.g. staffing requirements, production processes, maintenance of plant equipment, etc
• Monitor the flow of work on each job and assist the machine operators where necessary
• Investigate the root cause of non-conformance and recommend corrective actions and measures to prevent the damage.
• Ensure production staff implement and comply with the requirement of API Q1, ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
• Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformity relating to product, process and quality system.
• Recommend and implement initiatives such as new production techniques, products, purchase of new machinery, and changes in staff levels
• Monitor the preparation of production records and reports
• Provide advice and information about products to other managers and clients
• Control use of production plant facilities through the planning of maintenance, the setting of operating hours, and supply of parts and tools
• Prepare work programs to achieve planned production and direct production control activities
• Liaise with private inspectors and contractors for inspection of pressure vessels, lifting equipment, and lifts
• Supervise production staff and organize staff selection, training, development, and utilization.
• Coordinate and direct quality control procedures and the implementation of safety requirements, ensuring statutory requirements are met.

KEY AUTHORITY

• To stop production in case product NC is reported
• To identify the needs for resources and training
• To take necessary action on occurrence of NC
• To handle customer complaints
• To take action on break down maintenance
• To suggest needs of Instruments & equipment
• To release raw material from designated storage area/
• To do preventive maintenance of MC as per plan.

 QUALIFICATION:

• Minimum High School Degree or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years experience in a related field.
• Minimum 2 years as Supervisor/ Head in Production, prefer in a related field.
• Willing to work in Cipondoh.
• Willing to work on Saturday.
