About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Engineer to join our dynamic team at PT Dynacast Indonesia in Batam, Riau Islands. As a Production Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and improving our manufacturing process to ensure consistent, high-quality production. What you’ll be doing

1. Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and product quality

2. Develop and implement process control strategies, including the use of statistical process control techniques

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production-related problems

4. Conduct root cause analysis and propose corrective actions to address manufacturing issues

5. Provide technical support and training to production personnel to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures

6. Continuously monitor and optimize process parameters to maintain product quality and efficiency

What we’re looking for

1. Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering is a must

2. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Production Engineer or Process Engineer within the manufacturing industry

3. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, continuous improvement methodologies QC tools, waste management, lean manufacturing.

4. Proficiency in using data analysis tools and techniques to identify process improvements and ensure technical operation meets daily output yield targets

5. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills

6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams

7. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
