Production Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Production Assistant Manager to support the Sr. Production Manager in leading our high-volume manufacturing operations. This position is ideal for an ambitious professional in the earlier stage of their career, with proven production supervision experience and a strong understanding of Lean manufacturing. You will play a critical role in managing daily operations, driving continuous improvement, and preparing to step into a senior leadership position in the future.

Job Description:

• Support the Sr. Production Manager in overseeing daily manufacturing activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.

• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OEE and recommend improvement actions.

• Assist in implementing and sustaining Lean manufacturing practices (5S, waste elimination, standard work, flow).

• Identify process interconnections and systemic effects to improve workflow and overall efficiency.

• Prepare and present structured reports, updates, and improvement proposals to the Sr. Production Manager, the Production Manager, and leadership team.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (quality, maintenance, planning) to ensure seamless production processes.

• Support and optimize the use of MES, OMS, and other production systems to improve visibility and decision-making.

• Help foster a culture of safety, organization, and discipline on the production floor.

• Take initiative in solving problems, leading small-scale improvement projects, and implementing operational best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Operations Management, or related field

• Minimum experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a large-scale manufacturing environment

• Solid and proven understanding of Lean principles (5S, waste elimination, standard work)

• Strong analytical thinking – comfortable with KPIs (OEE), Excel, and data-driven decisions

• Able to present ideas clearly and convincingly – structured communicator with clarity in words and purpose

• Sees process interconnections and understands systemic effects – a systems thinker

• Calm, logical mindset – prefers structure over chaos, and action over noise

• Ideally in the earlier stage of your career and ready to grow into a leadership role

• Motivated, ambitious, and hands-on – someone who takes initiative and ownership

• Digitally competent – experienced with ERP, MES, or production systems

• Fluent in English – communicates well across all organizational levels
