Requirements:

1. A bachelor’s degree in food science, food engineering, industrial engineering, chemical engineering or management.
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in food manufacturing with a proven track record of success in a production or manufacturing role.
3. Understanding and having experience in food safety regulations, quality control processes, and production efficiency (GMP, HACCP, Halal, HSE)
4. Strong leadership and management skills to supervise and motivate production team, and able to make decisions quickly and efficiently.
5. Excellent communication skills to liaise with various departments, including production, quality control, maintenance, and management.
6. NOT SMOKING (or not using electronic vape)

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and coordinate the activities of production staff, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining quality and safety standards.
2. Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure that products meet regulatory and company standards. This may involve implementing and managing quality control systems like HACCP.
3. Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall productivity. This may involve process optimization, equipment upgrades, or workflow improvements.
4. Coordinate with other departments to manage raw material and finished goods inventory levels, ensuring that production has the necessary resources to meet demand.
5. Generate and analyze production reports to assess performance against key metrics. Present findings to management and suggest improvements or corrective actions.
6. Collaborate with other departments such as maintenance, quality control, and logistics to ensure a seamless production process.
7. Able to identify issues and implement effective solutions to ensure the smooth operation of the production process
8. Able to manage schedules, deadlines, and resources efficient and effectively.
9. Provide training to production staff and ensure that they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
10. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement measures to create a safe working environment. This includes conducting regular safety audits and addressing any identified issues promptly.
