Job Description

• Conducting research and analysis to create the concept of products as per API, ASME, ASTM, JIS standard in Valve Products.
• Planning milestones, project time frame, and goals.
• To prepare assembly drawing and bill of material.
• To do 3 D and 2D modeling for design manufacture. 
• To do process by implementing standard procedures and design tools for mechanical drawing design and construction. 
• Prototyping, evaluating the test and design result, and redesigning until the product is ready to be manufactured.
• To perform and to complete work with full responsibility. 
• Understand the concept of APQP and having the ability to participate in DFMEAs and support PFMEAs.
• Discussing and solving /troubleshooting complex problem with manufacturing departments, suppliers, and customer.
• Reviewing and evaluating existing products to create recommendations of modifications and improvement for product development.
• Providing good reports and documentation.

Requirements

• Candidates must possess at least a Diploma/Bachelor degree with a heavy focus on engineering.
• At least 3 years of working experience in the design and manufacturing processes.
• Have expertise in mechanical engineering especially in Design Products and Design Process to execute products.
• Have the ability to engineering software (SolidWorks and Auto Cad).
• Have knowledge API, ASME, ASTM, JIS standard in Valve Products.
• Have a good Design improvement, trials, and root-cause analysis.
• Accurate, attention to detail, tactful, and a fast learner is a must.
• Have good interpersonal, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
• Have superb creativity, logic, vision, and problem-solving skills.
• Have good communication skills in English both oral and written.
• Have the ability to work individually and in a team.
