The Roles

Our growing team in Indonesia is responsible for software assets in DHI’s technology portfolio of Digital Solutions, and we are looking for a Product Owner (PO) to join the team. While your job title will be Product Owner, the role contains elements of Project Management and SCRUM mastering. 

As a Product Owner in our team, you will be responsible for handling one or multiple projects locally and/or overseas (remotely). In parallel with managing product specific backlogs, you will assist our Head of Department maintaining a team backlog of high-level epics, highlighting resource crunches across projects. 

You will work both independently as PO/PM and collaborate with Portfolio Managers and other stakeholders in the organisation. As DHI is an international organisation with world class experts and strong stakeholders, you need to have excellent interpersonal and strong leadership skills, and be able to communicate progress, status and issues in a transparent manner, while providing pushback to leadership and stakeholders when necessary.  

We are looking for an experienced Agile professional with strong analytics skills, oriented towards customer and product excellence.  

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

• Ensuring successful delivery of features and functionality of multiple products. 
• Defining product vision, specification, and roadmaps. 
• Managing tasks, backlogs, resources, and distribution of work. 
• Facilitate stand-ups, backlog refinement, retrospectives etc.  
• In cooperation with stakeholders, plan and prioritize product features to ensure alignment with product strategy. 
• Lead iteration and release planning to create and maintain business value. 
• Coordination with other Product Owners to ensure alignment with DHI’s other products. 
• Liaise and negotiation with stakeholder and/or clients. 
• Mentoring and training internal Product Owner candidates  

Skills and Qualifications

Required:

• B.Sc/ B.Eng will be accepted however M.Sc/ M.Eng is considered advantageous
• Minimum of 2 years professional experience working as Product Owner or involved at least to two full development lifecycles under agile methodology.
• Exceptional skills in written and verbal English.

Desirable:

• In-Depth knowledge of Agile process and principles. 
• Outstanding communication and negotiator with excellent presentation skills. 
• Excellent organizational and time management skills. 
• Sharp and analytical problem solving with attention to the details. 
• Proficient knowledge of issues tracking system, such as Azure, JIRA. 
• Experience as system architect and/or background as a developer is an advantage.
