The Role

Xendit is looking for an experienced Risk & Compliance Product Manager with a focus on transaction monitoring to drive the development and execution of risk management and compliance payment products at Xendit. The scope includes domestic as well as cross border payments. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with engineering, risk and compliance teams to develop our transaction monitoring solutions and other risk products to comply with regulatory requirements across the region, industry best practices, and meet the needs of Xendit merchants. We expect builds to scale as we expand across markets in SEA.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the payments industry and regulatory landscape, with a strong background in building and managing risk and compliance products. They should be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Xendit’s transaction monitoring solution to comply with regulatory requirements in multiple markets, industry best practices, and meet the needs of Xendit’s clients
• Build and launch Risk & Compliance-related products and services by leading all aspects of product management and development cycle
• Own and manage Xendit’s risk product platform, facilitating the onboarding flow, fraud prevention measures, and ongoing transaction monitoring system, while ensuring best in class customer experience
• Measure the performance of Xendits risk product platform and identify areas for improvement
• Work with other product managers cross-functionally at Xendit 
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of developers, risk professionals, and compliance professionals to solve for pressing and complex risk problems 
• Work with stakeholders across the organization to bring new features and ensure awareness of product status and roadmap risks
• Do whatever it takes to make Xendit succeed

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in building and managing risk and compliance products in the financial services industry, with a focus on transaction monitoring
• Experience building risk & compliance products based on the knowledge of regulatory rules/laws and their impact on internal policies and procedures
• Experience working with 3rd party providers and integrations 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks associated with product development and management
• Ability to make decisions and prioritize using data 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
