The New Product Development (NPD) Supervisor will lead and manage the entire process of new skincare and cosmetic product development from concept to launch. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong project management skills and a passion for innovation in beauty and skincare. The NPD Supervisor will collaborate closely with Marketing, R&D, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and external partners to ensure successful, timely, and compliant product launches.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end NPD process including concept ideation, formula development, packaging selection, and commercialization.

• Work closely with internal stakeholders (R&D, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Regulatory, etc.) to align product launches with brand strategy and market trends.

• Monitor global beauty and skincare trends, ingredients, and innovations to identify product opportunities.

• Develop and maintain NPD timelines and ensure all product development milestones are met.

• Coordinate with suppliers, contract manufacturers (maklon), and packaging vendors to source materials and finalize specifications.

• Ensure product formulations meet local and international regulatory standards and are aligned with brand claims.

• Conduct cost analysis and feasibility studies to ensure products are competitive and within budget.

• Organize and oversee product testing (stability, compatibility, efficacy, etc.) in coordination with the R&D team.

• Collaborate with Marketing to develop product positioning, USPs, and launch strategies.

• Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in New Product Development or Product Innovation in the skincare or cosmetic industry.

• Deep knowledge of skincare/cosmetic formulation, ingredients, and industry trends.

• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments and external partners.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and product development management tools.

• Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia. Mandarin is a plus.

• Creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about beauty innovation.

• Willing to be placed in PIK area.
