About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Product Development & QA-QC Manager to join our dynamic team at PT. Idelux Furniture Indonesia’. Your crucial role in ensuring the Product Development and Quality Assurance of our product is seamless as to support the entire production process with consistently producing the highest standard quality of products with the main goal to deliver to the customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities :

1. Lead the product development process, from ideation to final production, to create innovative and market-leading furniture designs

2. Establish and oversee the implementation of Quality Management System to meet industry standards and customer expectations

3. Develop, Evaluate, Improve SOP Quality (including quality manuals and testing protocols) in all respective lines from raw material, WIP and finished goods

4. Conduct regular quality assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure best practices are being followed.

5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and production, to optimize product development and quality

6. Implement RCA, PICA, CAPA and create the weekly/monthly report with Action plan

7. To drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes and product quality

8. Provide training and mentorship to the quality assurance team to foster a culture of quality and continuous learning

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

2. Extensive experience (8+ years) in product development and quality assurance/quality control, preferably in the furniture or a related manufacturing industry

3. Excellent technical knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality standards

4. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and address quality issues

5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

6. Proven ability to lead and motivate production teams, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

7. Familiarity with quality management systems with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies

8. Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to use relevant software tools
