About the role

We are seeking an experienced Product Development specialist to join our dynamic team at PT Lautan Natural Krimerindo, a leading manufacturer of quality food products. In this full-time position based in Mojosari, East Java, you will play a crucial role in driving new product innovation and enhancing our existing product range to meet the evolving needs of our customers.

What you’ll be doing

• Conducting market research to identify new product opportunities and consumer trends Liquid Product-based products (UHT,retord process)
• Developing new product concepts and prototypes, including formulations, packaging, and labelling
• Testing and evaluating new products to ensure they meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and marketing, to bring new products to market
• Continuously improving existing products by optimising recipes, manufacturing processes, and packaging
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in food technology and safety

What we’re looking for

• Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in product development or food R&D, preferably within the food manufacturing industry
• Strong understanding of food science, nutrition, and food processing technologies
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address technical challenges
• Creative and innovative mindset, with a knack for developing novel product ideas
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control procedures
