Job Descriptions:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimise purchasing processes and reduce costs.
  • Analyze market trends and supply chain dynamics to identify opportunities for strategic sourcing, alongside with the report on procurement performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors and seek new suppliers to enhance procurement capabilities.
  • Oversee the creation and approval of purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Monitor order fulfilment, delivery schedules, and inventory levels to ensure timely availability of materials.
  • Assist in budget preparation and monitor procurement expenditures to ensure alignment with financial objectives.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams to understand material requirements and project timelines.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies regarding procurement practices.
  • Assess supplier risks and implement strategies to mitigate potential supply chain disruptions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the mining or industrial sector.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk management in procurement.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

Sinarmas Mining is one of the world-largest natural resources based companies with operations in Indonesian archipelagos. Our subsidiaries in Coal Mining are Berau Coal Energy and Golden Energy Mines and some other mining companies. Currently we operate in three areas: South Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, and Jambi. Currently, the Company sells coal to the Indonesian domestic market and export market in meeting customer needs which mainly consists of power plants, paper mills, cement and coal trading companies that purchase coal for resale. Looking ahead, the trading business is intended also for the purpose of mixing the coal quality to get quality coal in accordance with the specific needs of customers who come from various target different market segments, both within and outside the country.
