Our client is one of the top logistics players in Indonesia. Currently, they are looking for a procurement Supervisor to be responsible for the procurement of all goods and services that the group need within the warehouse and logistics function.

Client Details

Our client is one of the top logistics players in Indonesia. They work with multiple industry and often their own sister company to make their supply chain happen. This time, they are looking for a senior candidate to the the right hand man of their Head of Group Procurement.

Description

  • Procure respective needs within the multiple warehouse and logistics department.
  • Communicate/ negotiate with suppliers including pre-qualification and negotiation for price discounts and all other spare parts related issues.
  • Liase with local suppliers for new/recurring orders and ensure delivery of goods in a timely basis
  • Managing overall direction, coordination and evaluation of procurement for the organisation
  • Develop bid packages for service and material requirements.
  • Select and develop new suppliers and business opportunities.
  • Maintaining and grow partnerships with internal and external team across functions frequently.
  • Ensure that process is aligned with various departments in the company.

Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering or a related field from Tier 1 universities.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with good track record
  • Have exposure to contracts bench marking
  • Project management experience to drive improvement initiatives
  • Well developed influencing skills and is able to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
