Qualifications & experience

• Comprehensive education (Bachelor, Master) in the fields of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering or similar
• Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
• Minimum three years experience in a similar position with EPC, Manufacturing, etc.
• Relevant experience in the field of hydropower technologies in any role will be a major advantage
• Great time-management skills
• Analytical, structured and solution-oriented way of working
• Very good IT user knowledge of all common systems

Tasks & responsibilities

• Clarifying technical aspects of the RFQ project management and engineering team
• Coordinate with the global back office sales team about technical offers and price calculations from headquarters and subsidiaries for the main components
• Detail cost estimation for products and services offered
• Manage and maintain the Supplier Price Database and build good relationships with suppliers
• Responsible for collecting and collating all information needed to prepare the proposal (technical and commercial)
• Manage the Purchase Order (PO) process from issuance to supplier follow-up, ensuring orders meet project timelines and specifications. Responsibilities include verifying order accuracy, negotiating terms, handling PO amendments, and resolving procurement issues
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures throughout the PO process, including adherence to budget constraints and authorization protocols
• Inquire about the mechanical and electrical balance of plant equipment locally and within the region
• Preparation of Tender document, technical and commercial
• Coordinate and improve the purchasing process with EU Headquarters
