This position will be heading both Invictus International Schools for both Indonesia & Phnom Penh (Cambodia).
General Management functions:
• To be the Head and a contributing member of the school’s management team
• To provide leadership in managing the day-to-day operation of the School
• To lead the entire school in growing the school enrolment steadily to fill the school capacity
• To liaise with Invictus’ Academic and Examinations Board with regard to teaching & learning activities at the School – these are to be in line with the curriculum and ethos of Invictus
• Staffing at the School – so that the standards and methods of teaching are in line with those determined by the Academic and Examinations Board
• To work with Senior Vice President with regard to:
– The school’s budgetary process and the implementation of the approved budgets
– The school’s administrative processes as captured in Invictus’ Quality Assurance Plan (QAP), which includes matters relating to admissions, contracting of students, maintaining student records etc.
– To take all reasonable steps to ensure compliance with relevant statutory regulations as well as Invictus standing operating procedures (SOPs)
Job Specification:
• Minimally 8-10 years of leadership experience in a similar or related environment
• At least a Bachelor’s degree in Education/Teaching or equivalent, with post-grad training in education
• Recognised training or experience in School Leadership
• Higher degree or recognized professional qualification (preferred). Evidence of continued relevant professional development
• PGDE and/or PGCE is preferable
• Preferably a Teacher’s Licence (NIE certification)
• Demonstrate an acute and deep understanding of a primary and secondary school curriculum
• Teaching or pedagogical skills
• Passion for developing young learners
• Administrative and organizational skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Analytical skills
• Leadership skills
• Good composure and disposition
• Computer literacy in MS Office
• Good spoken and written skills in English, Mandarin and/or Bahasa Indonesia
