Job Position

Pre Sales Manager

The Pre Sales Manager takes ownership of the accounts and to build relationships with assigned accounts to maintain our current revenue and increase future upside.

The Pre Sales Manager determines what is needed and to explains how a product or service can help our clients to solve their problem. He/She will provide technical assistance and guidance by identifying customers technical and business requirements, prior to designing a solution, consulting with technical teams about capabilities and supporting business.

Responsibilities:

• To attend meetings with potential Clients to determine technical and business requirements and ensuring that all necessary information is collated prior to producing a solution
• Provide technical solutions in a professional manner and to agreed timeframes
• Perform sizing of man-days effort required based on customer’s requirements
• Schedule POC testing
• Create and confidently deliver technical presentations internally and externally
• Builds productive relationships internally and externally, fostering teamwork by keeping
• colleagues updated on activities
• Sell technical solutions to the customer with professionalism and interface with the
• implementation / project team, articulating customer requirement, to ensure smooth
• transition from Sale to Delivery
• To prospect, qualify, develop new business opportunities with existing, potential new clients
• and vertical industries (business domain) for products, solutions and services.
• To manage and develop major and critical customer accounts, and coordinate the
• management of account management support when needed.
• To negotiate all aspects of contractual agreement including terms and conditions, duration
• and pricing with the contracting entity.
• To constantly cultivate and establish good rapport and relationship with clients.
• To prepare/craft out quotations and proposals with Technical Solution Pre-sales team and
• Delivery team for clients’ needs and requirements.
• To research, monitor and understand the market trends and competitive trends to create
• strategic plans that will deliver desired results.

Requirements:

• BEng / BSc in Computer Studies / Electrical Engineering / Network Security with at least 3-5 years of relevant working experience in technology industry
• Experience on Cloud Computing, CDN, Data Centre, Managed Security and other related technologies
• Possess professional certificates (i.e. CCIE, CISSP, PMP) are definitely an advantage
• Proficiency MS Office
• Ability to quickly learn and comprehend ever-changing technologies
• Ability to maintain good working relationships with both technical and non-technical users,
• including the ability to communicate effectively with a large user base of differing levels of IT
• skills
• Superior analytical, problem solving and presentation skills
• Good command of both spoken and written English
