As the PPIC Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire spectrum of production planning and inventory control activities. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the efficient, cost-effective, and timely production of the company’s packaging solutions.

Our partner is a prominent and rapidly growing packaging manufacturing company, delivering innovative and sustainable packaging solutions to clients worldwide. With the current growth, they are looking for a talented PPIC Manager for the new facility in Yogyakarta.

Description

• Develop, implement, and manage production plans that align with sales forecasts, production capacity, and resource availability.
• Implement inventory strategies to maintain optimal stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and prevent shortages.
• Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to refine demand forecasts and adjust production schedules accordingly.
• Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate favorable terms, and ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components.
• Create and maintain production schedules that maximize equipment utilization and minimize downtime.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and quality improvement within the PPIC department.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of PPIC professionals to achieve departmental goals and foster a culture of collaboration.
• Work closely with quality control teams to maintain product quality standards throughout the production process.
• Generate and analyze production and inventory reports to guide data-driven decision-making and performance improvements.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant industry regulations and standards in production and inventory management.

Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven track record in production planning, inventory control, and supply chain management, with a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience.
• Must be currently located in or willing to relocate to Yogyakarta
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and other relevant software.
• Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is advantageous.
• Prior experience in the packaging manufacturing industry is preferred.
