Job Summary : 

We are seeking a PPIC Manager. A Manager of PPIC will be well-equipped to manage all aspects of production planning and inventory control effectively, ensuring smooth and efficient operations in a leather bag manufacturing company.

Requirements : 

• Education Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Quality Management or related field
• Have Experience min 5-8 years in PPIC,preferably in bag manufacturing and at least 3 years in managerial or supervisory role
• Ability to design and implement long term production planning strategies
• Proficient in using ERP, MRP or other software tools for production and inventory management.
• Expertise in analyzing and controlling production cost, and identifying areas for cost efficiency without compromising quality.
• Have certifications (Project Management, APICS Certification) are highly valued
• Have strong analytical skills to identify issues in production or inventory management and develop effective solutions.
• Proficiency in using Ms Office
• Proficiency in English, mandarin will be Advantage
• Placement in Kendal Industrial Area

Responsibilities : 

• Production Planning : Create efficient production schedules based on customer orders, raw material availability, and production capacity
• Inventory Control : Monitor and manager stock levels of raw materials and finished goods to ensure adequate availability without overstocking. Identify and address obsolete or slow moving inventory items
• Scheduling and Production Control : Create and manage daily, weekly and monthly production schedules to ensure all orders are fulfilled on time, Monitor production performance, make production schedules based on changes in customer demand or material availability.
• Interdepartmental Coordination : Work with sales and marketing departments to understand market trends and customer demand, and coordinate with R&D team to ensure that new products are produced according to plan and quality standards.
• Data Management and Reporting : Doing analyze production and inventory data to identify trends, issues and oppurtunities for efficiency improvements. Make regular reports on production status, inventory levels and PPIC Department performance for management.
•  Cost Control : control production costs by optimizing the use of raw materials, Ensure that production and inventory operations remain within the established budget limits.
• Continuous process improvement : Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste, develop and update SOP for production planning and inventory control
• Problem solving and Decision Making : Address production constaints such as material shortages or equipment failures, make strategic decisions related to production planning and control to ensure smooth operations
