PERSOLKELLY Indonesia is currently assisting one of our clients in a Japanese construction installation company in  finding great talent as a Power Generator Operator with the requirement as follows:

Working location: Sudirman, South Jakarta

Job Responsibility:

·  Generator Operation:

• Start, operate, and shut down power generators as required for construction site activities.
• Monitor generator performance, ensuring stable and continuous power supply to the site.

·  Maintenance and Inspection:

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of power generators, including checking fuel levels, oil levels, coolant levels, and battery conditions.
• Perform basic repairs and troubleshooting of generator systems, including electrical and mechanical components.

·  Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure that all generator operations are conducted in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Implement safety protocols, including emergency shutdown procedures, and ensure that all safety equipment is functional and accessible.

·  Fuel Management:

• Monitor fuel consumption and manage fuel supply to ensure generators have adequate fuel at all times.
• Coordinate with suppliers for timely fuel deliveries and manage fuel storage.

·  Record Keeping and Reporting:

• Maintain detailed logs of generator operations, maintenance activities, fuel usage, and any incidents or malfunctions.
• Report any operational issues or safety concerns to the site supervisor or maintenance manager.

·  Coordination with Site Teams:

• Work closely with construction site managers, electrical engineers, and other site personnel to ensure that power needs are met.
• Assist in the planning of generator placement and distribution of power on the construction site.

Requirements:

1. Having experience Min. 1 Year as a Power Generator Operator in any project
2. Have Certificate of Competence for Electricity Engineering Personnel or SKTTK issued by ESDM (Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Indonesia)
3. Have an Electrical-related certification named Kompetensi BNSP Pengoperasian Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Mini Hidro (PLTMH) issued by Badan Nasional Sertifikasi Profesi (BNSP)
4. Good in English both speaking and writing
