Early Childhood Educator (6 months – 5 years)

Bright Little Stars is a nurturing and dynamic early childhood education center committed to providing a stimulating and supportive learning environment for children aged 6 months to 5 years. We believe in fostering a love for learning from an early age, and we’re seeking a passionate educator to join our team.
Role and Responsibilities:
As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing and educating children within the age range of 6 months to 5 years. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
– Designing and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and activities to promote holistic development (social, emotional, physical, and cognitive) in each child.
– Providing a safe, clean, and stimulating environment that supports active exploration and learning.
– Building and maintaining strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through open communication and regular updates on the child’s progress.
– Observing and documenting each child’s growth, development, and milestones, and using this information to tailor individualized learning plans.
– Managing the daily routine, including meal times, nap times, and playtime, ensuring a balanced schedule that meets the needs of each child.
– Creating a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning.
– Collaborating with other educators and staff members to plan and execute special events, outings, and parent involvement activities.
Qualifications:
– Previous experience working with children aged 6 months to 5 years in an educational setting is preferred
– Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching methodologies.
– Passionate about early childhood education and committed to fostering a love for learning in young children.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
– First Aid and CPR certification (will be provided by us if you don’t have it

Bright Little Stars is an early childhood learning center for children as young as three months old to children up to five years old. Within our first 3 months we have more than 100 students who have joined us. We blend a healthy dose of love and encouragement with a curriculum carefully engineered by some of the best early education experts in the industry. Our curriculum is influenced by Australia’s Early Years Learning Framework and Maria Montessori. Behind each of our classes is a detailed lesson plan, designed to stimulate early childhood development.
