Objectives:

The position holder will be responsible for Operations, Maintenance, HSSE and Security of BECIS’s biomass-to-energy plant (Biomass steam boiler). This position reports to Operations and Maintenance Manager of BECIS and shall be based in plant.

Plant Manager will manage entire site operations, including handling and storage of incoming fuel, production, and maintenance. He/she will also lead site organization team to achieve plant. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and to ensure site operations are safe, reliable, and efficient in meeting customer requirements and company target.

Site head count: 19 People, including contracted staff.

Responsibilities:

• Lead shift group operation and maintenance on day-to-day operation
• Manage daily report of plant operation, maintenance, and safety to O&M Manager
• Manage all equipment certifications, plant safety management and licenses
• Manage incoming fuel warehouse including liaise day to day operations with Supply Chain Manager
• Work together with O&M Manager to comply, maintain and further developing SOP, WI, and RCA
• Develop knowledge sharing to team and ensuring that the team complies with facility standard operation procedure
• Provide safety leadership and champion of plant 5S
• Ensure compliance of BECIS’s Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS)
• Ensure compliance with HSSE program involving hazard identification evaluation and control, accident/injury prevention, waste management, emergency preparedness, fire/life safety, ergonomics, industrial hygiene, and environmental regulatory compliance
• Manage and control all plant spare part including liaise with O&M Manager for spare part replenishment
• Manage ash removal on day-to-day basis (subcontracted)
• Responsible for site CMMS
• Liaise and communicate with the customer, under guidance from O&M Manager
• Manage plant ERT (Emergency Response Team) and readiness
• Supervise/execute minor projects at the site

Requirement/Qualifications

Requirement:

Experience:

• Previous equivalent experience with power plant/boiler operation
• Having knowledge of equipment mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and automation maintenance
• Demonstrable familiarity and track record of power plant/ boiler processes and system implementation, as well as with top-level health and safety guidelines and procedures

Competences:

• Hands-on experience in operations; min. 8 years.
• Cross-functional management capability
• Strong Leadership and fast-paced team player
• Must possess analytical and knowledge about corrective root cause analysis such as fishbone and why-why

Qualifications:

• Relevant mechanical/electrical degree (S1) from reputable university
• Boiler operating license class 1 from Disnaker is a benefit
• Candidates must be computer literate
• Native speaker of Bahasa Indonesia. Advanced level of English, both written and spoken
• Ability to work in a team
• Willingly to be placed in plant between: Daan Mogot-Tangerang, Batang-Central Java, Pasuruan-East Java
