About the role

We are seeking an experienced Planning Manager to join our team at PT Interpak Industries Batam, a leading manufacturing company in Batam, Riau Islands. As our Planning Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the material planning, production planning and scheduling activities to ensure efficient and timely delivery of our products. This is a full-time position based in our Batam office.

What you’ll be doing

  1. Develop and implement effective material & production plans to meet customer demand and business objectives

  2. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align production schedules with sales forecasts and inventory levels

  3. Analyse purchase data and identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimisation

  4. Manage the production scheduling system and ensure accurate and timely updates

  5. Manage material planner team to align material and resource requirements with production plans

  6. Monitor planning KPIs and provide regular reports to management

  7. Mentor and develop material & production planning team to enhance their skills and capabilities

What we’re looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in material and production planning or scheduling role, preferably in the manufacturing industry (paper / carton box)

  2. Strong understanding of material planning, production planning and scheduling principles

  3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to optimise material & production processes

  4. Proficient in using data analysis tools and software to generate reports and support decision-making

  5. Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively at all levels

  6. Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field

To maintain our company services and quality assurance, IIB have obtained the Quality system through ISO 9001: 200, and save the earth through Environmental program and establish the ISO 14001:2004 as guidance and Manual. In the other side to support IIB customer needs, IIB also strive to comply Rohs as well as obtained other customer requirement like Sony Green Partner, Panasonic Green Procurement and Epson Green Purchasing to apply the system to all our products.
