PT. SHENHUA GUOHUA PEMBANGKITAN JAWA BALI was registered in Jakarta, Indonesia in January 2016. It is mainly responsible for the construction and operation of the Jawa 7 power station project. The Jawa 7 project is located in Serang City, Banten Province, Republic of Indonesia, which is far from Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia. It is about 100 kilometers away from Serang, the capital of Banten Province, about 20 kilometers away. The project is jointly invested, developed, and constructed by China Shenhua, a national energy group, and PJBI, a subsidiary of the Indonesian National Electric Power Company. Jawa 7 project is currently the largest power generation project in Indonesia. It is an important measure taken by China Energy Group to actively respond to China’s “The belt and road initiative” and Indonesia’s “Global Marine Fulcrum”, bringing together China’s power engineering design, equipment manufacturing, construction, and management. It is an excellent example of operation and is known as another “national business card” for Chinese enterprises to “go global”.
