PT Krakatau Engineering Corporation (PT KEC) was established in 1988 to handle the work of Feasibility Study, Engineering and Project Management inside and outside of PT KS Group.

Based on competency, partnered with International consultant and experienced in Electrical Industry and Infrastructure in KS Group, PT KEC becomes more and more developed and be able to compete with National Consultant for many national projects.

By the large amount of long term opportunities in National and Regional constructions, there were changes in business strategies of PT KEC in 1997. At the first, PT KEC is aimed to be a consultant-based company and then becomes a contractor-based company.

The regulation about label causes PT KEC changes the name into PT Krakatau Engineering (PT KE).

To ensure the supply chain, maintain the knowledge assets, and experiences in Engineer and Construction attached to personnel and management system, PT KE established a subsidiary in 2003. It is engaged in the field of Consultant named PT Krakatau Konsultan (PT KK).

In the near future, PT KK is expected to be able to provide the necessity of Consultant Company in PT KS Group and other companies located in and around Cilegon. It is also expected that the development of this company will make them an outstanding company in national and regional level.

As one of the subsidiaries of PT KE, PT KK was established on February 22nd, 2013. This consultant company has main office in Building 1, PT Krakatau Engineering Office Jl. Asia Raya, Kav. O3. Krakatau Industrial Estate Cilegon-Banten.

PT KE has experiences in Consultant field since 1988. In addition, PT KE has experiences as a contractor since 1997 in Industrial Engineer and Construction, and Energy and Infrastructure as well. Those experiences and knowledge attach to each individual and management system, then become references and synergies for PT KK as a new company in operating their business.

Now, PT KK has already had Business Entity Certificate (SBU) and personnel Expertise Certificate that adequate the main requirement. In 2005, PT KK had attained ISO Certificate 9001:2008 through a reputable independent certification agency, LRQA (Llyod’s Register Quality Assurance).

At the moment, PTKK already has Business Entity Certificate (SBU) and Certificates Experties (SKA) of personnel. For the International Standards, in 2015 PTKK has obtained an ISO 9001: 2008 Concerning on Quality Management Systems and has been updated to ISO 9001: 2015 in 2018, ISO 14001: 2015, concerning on Environmental Management Systems, and ISO 45001: 2018 concerning on Safety and Health Management Systems (SMK3) in 2019. The three ISO certificates were obtained through a leading independent certification institution, LRQA (Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance).

Through Vision, Mission, Culture, and commitment for performing Quality Management System and consistency in doing improvement, PT KK hope to reach customers’ expectation. Therefore, feedback from customers is important for PT KK as input to always make improvements in services that eventually gain more trust from customers upon PT KK performance.
