In 1929 Yazaki pioneered the wiring harness, and we have been leading the way ever since. A vehicle’s wire harness is similar to the spinal cord found within the body, distributing electricity and information throughout the vehicle to other components. In Indonesia we built more than 6 factories and companies since 1989, to support and being key supplier for our domestic and global customers.

PT EDS Manufacturing Indonesia (PEMI) established on 1989 from joint venture between Yazaki Corp and Astra Otopart. Growing rapidly, now PEMI had more than 700 employee to support our customers needs in domestic (24%) and export (76%) markets, such as Toyota, Daihatsu, Nissan, Hino, General Motors, Isuzu, Suzuki, etc.
