SINARMAS MSIG LIFE IN A GLANCE

Started its engagement in the national insurance industry on April 14, 1985, as PT Asuransi Jiwa Purnamala Internasional Indonesia (PIl). After going through transformational processes twice. PT Asuransi Jiwa Sinarmas MSIG (also known as Sinarmas MSIG Life – SMiLe) emerged as a joint venture company between PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk and Japanese insurance powerhouse. Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Co., Ltd. in 2011.

A new chapter of the company’s endeavor was recorded on June 28, 2019, when Sinarmas MSIG Life officially became a public company as PT Asuransi Jiwa Sinarmas MSIG Tbk. On July 9. 2019, Sinarmas MSIG Life shares under stock code: LIFE was listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. At the same time, Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Co., Ltd. (MSI) officially became the controlling shareholder with 80% share ownership, followed by PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (12.5%) and the public (7.5%).

In reaching its vision as a leading service provider in financial planning and protection in Indonesia, the Company provides its service to around 1.3 million individual and group customers by more than 580 employees and supported by more than 12.200 marketers in 35 service and marketing offices.
