PT Actavis Indonesia is part of Actavis Generics, a global pharmaceutical company focused on developing, manufacturing and commercializing branded pharmaceuticals, generic and over-the-counter medicines, and biologic products. In July 2015, Allergan, Plc announced it would sell the Generics division of the company (Actavis Generics) to Teva Pharmaceuticals for $40.5 billion, the transaction was completed in the beginning of August 2016.
