About the role

As a Payroll Staff at PT Garuda Metalindo, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for the company’s employees. Working in a full-time role based in North Jakarta, Jakarta, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the company’s payroll system runs smoothly and efficiently.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Calculating and processing employee salaries, wages, bonuses, and other payroll-related payments using SunFish HRIS

  • Maintaining detailed and accurate records of employee attendance, leave balances, and payroll data

  • Preparing and submitting monthly payroll reports, tax filings (PPh 21), and BPJS reports to relevant authorities

  • Responding to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and discrepancies

  • Collaborating closely with the HR team to ensure payroll compliance with Indonesian labor laws and tax regulations

  • Continuously reviewing and improving payroll procedures to increase accuracy and efficiency

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a payroll or accounting role

  • Solid understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations (especially PPh 21), and labor law compliance

  • Proven experience using SunFish HRIS is highly preferred

  • High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail in handling numerical data

  • Proficient in payroll software, Microsoft Excel, and spreadsheet tools

  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with employees and internal stakeholders

  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and integrity

  • A self-starter with strong organizational skills who can work both independently and in a team

PT. Garuda Metalindo are nationwide company which established and operational since 1982, in the manufacturing of bolt and nut. Before the establishment of the company, activity already begin as a home industry since 1970 producing Spring Center Bolt and Spring U-Bolt, that been used in motor vehicle. In line with the economical growth of Indonesia, PT Garuda Metalindo keep exist and developing in every aspect of the company, which influence the growth of the company. At this time, we are not only producing Spring Center Bolt and Spring U-Bolt, auto parts and fasteners but also we produce many kind of bolt and nut from 2 mm to 30 mm based on customer requirement. At this time our company occupied the new office building. We build a new office at the location of the old office at kapuk and expand the office building three times larger than the old office as our company growth. We are occupied an area about 15,00 square meters and 14,493 square meters for the building space in Kapuk area and about 21,00 square meters at Tangerang area. By June 2006 we’ve been employed about 1018 employee in factory and office for both location in Jakarta and Tangerang. Trust that given by our customer which produce many kind of product from vehicle, bicycle, home appliance, electronics and others. Are proof that we are a trusted and reliable company in producing bolt, nut and automotive component. Become the one of the leading bolt and nut manufacturer in Indonesia, we are trying to improve our self and developing our capabilities to be one of the player in global market. by then we are consistent in developing and managing our company to be recognize in global market with the implementation of ISO 900 Series in year 200 and been certified in January 2001 by Lloyd’s Registered Quality Assurance. In year 2004 along with the company growth we realize that we have to improve our self better than before , that’s why we are up grading our ISO 900 Series to ISO TS-16949. And we are been certified on August 2004. Our hope that by implementing the ISO TS-16949 on our company we can compete in local and global market fairly. This year our concern on the company growth to develop more competence human resources with knowledge and implementation of safety and health environment aspect.
