Job Title: Payroll Officer (Mandarin Speaker)

Location: Gresik, East Java

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Officer fluent in Mandarin to join our client. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our Mandarin-speaking employees. If you have a strong background in payroll administration, proficiency in Mandarin, and excellent attention to detail, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements:

  1. Fluency in Mandarin, with strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in English and/or Bahasa Indonesia is also preferred.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
  3. Proven experience in payroll administration, preferably in a multinational company or similar environment.
  4. Knowledge of Indonesian labor laws, tax regulations, and social security requirements.
  5. Experience with payroll software and systems; familiarity with popular platforms such as ADP, SAP, or Workday is advantageous.
  6. Meticulous attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in payroll calculations and documentation.
  7. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies efficiently.
  8. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  9. Discretion in handling confidential payroll information and maintaining data integrity.
  10. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Process payroll accurately and timely for Mandarin-speaking employees, including wages, salaries, bonuses, and deductions.
  2. Ensure compliance with Indonesian labor laws, tax regulations, and social security requirements in payroll processing.
  3. Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation, including employee information, timesheets, and tax withholdings.
  4. Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees, managers, and external stakeholders in a professional and timely manner.
  5. Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies or issues, such as incorrect payments, missing hours, or tax discrepancies.
  6. Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management or relevant departments as required.
  7. Collaborate closely with the HR department to ensure accurate employee data and seamless payroll processing.
  8. Assist with internal and external payroll audits by providing documentation, explanations, and support as needed.
  9. Identify opportunities for process improvements in payroll procedures, systems, and documentation.
  10. Uphold confidentiality and security of payroll information and maintain data privacy standards.
