Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Drafting, preparing, reviewing, proofreading and translating legal documents (including corporate secretarial documents) to ensure accuracy and consistency between English and Bahasa Indonesia versions.
2. Maintaining administration for legal department including the maintenance of company’s licences, permits, proper filing of agreements (including appendices, addendums, amendments, etc), processing power of attorneys and legalisation of documents, etc.
3. Liaise with Business Units on governance and compliance issues under the prevailing framework and standing guidelines.
4. Monitoring and updating company licenses and permits.
5. Attending meetings, taking minutes, drafting resolutions, and other corporate secretarial functions.
6. Familiarity with OSS system and working with BKPM for filing of documents, application for licenses, etc.
7. Work as an integrated team with all stakeholders both internally and externally, in identifying, mitigating and managing risks on activities, businesses and projects of Sembcorp Industries.
8. Understanding the commercial objectives, strategy, pressure points of the business, reasonable operational knowledge with a view to identifying and assessing the risks and legal issues involved, and effectively communicating this to the business unit or project team to enable them to make well-informed business decisions.

Qualifications & Experience 

1. Advance / Higher Diploma or Degree in Laws.
2. At least 3 (three) years of relevant working experience in similar role. Experience in power and/or renewable energy sector would be an advantage.
3. Good proficiency in English and Bahasa both oral & written is a must.
4. Strong writing and communication skills along with attention to detail.
