The operations manager will be in charge of the general operations of the site, including improvement, production, supply chain, as well as HRGA.

Description

• Oversee day-to-day operations on the manufacturing floor, including scheduling, production processes, and quality control.
• Identify and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize production costs.
• Manage inventory control systems to ensure sufficient raw materials are available for production while minimizing holding cost
• Manage the HRGA issues together with the HR personnel, including but not limited to unions, coaching, KPI setting, and development plans
• Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and track progress towards goals.
• Prepare and present production reports to senior management.
• Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and implement new technologies to improve manufacturing processes.
• Maintain a culture of continuous improvement within the manufacturing team.

Profile

• Fluency in English: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Has driven operations improvement: Proven track record of implementing and leading successful operations improvement initiatives, including production line optimization and process re-engineering.
• Has experience managing functions: Extensive experience in managing various manufacturing functions, including production, maintenance, health, safety, and environment (HSE), along with a strong understanding of human resources and general administration (HR/GA) principles in a manufacturing environment.
• Preferably from electronics / footwear industry: Prior experience in the electronics or footwear manufacturing industry is a strong plus.
• Has ERP / supply chain experiences: Proven experience utilizing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and managing complex supply chains with a high volume of Stock Keeping Units (SKUs) and diverse components.
• Has experience in HRGA management: Solid understanding of HR/GA functions in a manufacturing setting, including experience with unionized workforces, employee coaching and development, and developing key performance indicators (KPIs) for cross-function within manufacturing site.
