About the role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Operations Assistant Manager to join our growing 3PL (Third Party Logistics) Warehouse team in Majalengka, West Java. As an integral part of our Contract Logistics Division, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse facility. This full-time position will allow you to leverage your expertise in warehousing and logistics to contribute to the strategic objectives of PT Kamadjaja Logistics’.

What you’ll be doing

1. Assist the Operations Manager in the day-to-day management and supervision of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing and dispatching goods

2. Implement and maintain effective warehouse management systems and processes to optimise productivity and inventory control

3. Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment

4. Monitor and report on key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement

5. Oversee the training and development of the warehouse team, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge

6. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address operational challenges and enhance customer satisfaction

What we’re looking for

1. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics operations role, preferably within the 3PL industry

2. Graduate from Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/ Bachelor’s degree in Informatics Engineering and/or Bachelor’s degree related to logistics and supply chain management.

3. Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound, stock management, and the use of management systems (WMS)

4. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and analytical skills

5. Proficient in data analysis and report generation

6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders

7. Have knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and experience implementing safety protocols

8. A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

9. Good math with minimum score 8

10. Willing to work in shifting (there are 3 shifts)

11. Have good leadership, ability to motivate, and lead the warehouse team, and maintain a positive work environment

12. Ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing, both within the team and with other departments
