About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Operational Manager to oversee all operational, financial, and administrative functions of our school. This key leadership role ensures smooth daily operations and supports our school’s vision and mission in Balikpapan.

Key Responsibilities

Operations:

  • Manage and supervise all operational staff and daily school activities

  • Oversee facilities, security, maintenance, transportation, and dormitory management

  • Handle student enrollment and marketing programs

  • Resolve operational issues with staff, parents, and external parties

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations

  • Manage vendor relationships and procurement

Finance:

  • Manage budgeting, financial reporting, and operational funds

  • Oversee invoice verification, payment approvals, and financial transactions

  • Prepare internal audit reports for Head Office

  • Monitor expenses and ensure fiscal responsibility

Human Resources:

  • Supervise daily routines of non-academic staff

  • Assist with recruitment, screening, and background checks

  • Manage BPJS Health and Employment administration

  • Handle attendance tracking, overtime reports, and performance evaluations

  • Assist with KITAS and regulatory requirements for expatriate teachers

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Management, or related fields preferred)

  • 2-3 years experience as Operational Supervisor/Manager (education sector preferred)

  • Proficient in MS Office and internet-based tools

  • Strong English communication skills (written & verbal)

  • Valid driving license (SIM A)

  • Detail-oriented, independent, with strong leadership and problem-solving skills

  • Based in Balikpapan or willing to relocate
