About the role

We are seeking a skilled .Net Backend Engineer to join our forward-thinking Jakarta team. Based in BSD City, Indonesia office , you’ll play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining backend services that power critical systems and applications.

As a .Net Backend Engineer , you will focus on building robust, high-performance backend systems that support complex business needs. This role involves working with a talented team of developers to design, develop, and optimize APIs, microservices, and backend infrastructure.

Your expertise in C# , the .Net framework , and cloud technologies will help shape the foundation of scalable and secure solutions for a wide range of projects.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using C# and the .Net framework.
• Build and optimize scalable and efficient microservices to support various applications and services.
• Develop and manage robust database structures, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to create seamless end-to-end solutions.
• Analyze and optimize backend systems for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Identify and resolve issues in production environments to ensure smooth system operation.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute ideas for improving existing systems and practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience:
• • Proven expertise in C# and the .Net framework.
  • Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs and backend services in production.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in tools like Git.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills with attention to detail.
• Understanding of secure coding practices and backend security standards.

Good to Have

• Experience with message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka) for asynchronous processing.
• Knowledge of containerisation tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Exposure to NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
• Background in Agile development methodologies.
