We are seeking: (National) Assistant Head of Department for English & English Teacher 

The position starts on 26th July 2024

Dyatmika is an established school with an excellent reputation for academic success. The school opened in 1995, catering for students aged 3 to 18 years and is known as a leading school in Bali.  Students leave Dyatmika well-equipped for further learning in the world’s top universities and in their lives beyond school.

The School is an accredited Cambridge International School with a beautiful campus overlooking rice fields and the ocean. Our students are well behaved, interested in learning and a delight to teach. 

We are inviting applications from suitably qualified English Teachers to join our outstanding team from July 2024.
 

Applicants for the position should:

• have a English Language Education/relevant degree and a full teaching qualification 
• have knowledge of and experience in teaching English First Language at Cambridge Lower Secondary and IGCSE levels
• have knowledge of and experience in teaching English Second Language at IGCSE
• have experience of leadership within an English department
• have outstanding written and spoken English skills
• have strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues from differing backgrounds and cultures
• be willing and enthusiastic about contributing to the school’s Extra Curricular Activity programme 

It would also be an advantage to have:

• working knowledge of the Cambridge International Curriculum
• experience teaching bi/multilingual students 
• a high standard of teaching practice and professionalism 
• commitment to professional learning
• respect for a diverse school culture
