A Wonderful Opportunity for National Aquatics Instructors 

Dyatmika School, Bali

Dyatmika is an established not-for-profit school with an excellent reputation. The school opened in 1995, catering for students aged 3 to 18 years and is known as a leading school in Bali. 

We are seeking qualified and enthusiastic Aquatics Instructors to teach swimming lessons and water based activities  in our newly built swimming pool. The position starts on 25th July 2025.

Dyatmika is committed to providing students with an engaging, nurturing educational experience. Our beautiful school campus is purpose-built with excellent facilities and well equipped classrooms. Our students are well behaved, interested in learning and a delight to teach. 

The successful applicant will work closely with their Indonesian and international colleagues, delivering high quality swimming lessons and water based activities.

We ask that you:

• have a recognised swimming teaching qualification (essential)

• have previous experience as swimming teacher in a school setting

• are committed to ensuring student safety in and out of the water

• have an excellent level of English language

• are able to teach swimming to a range of abilities and ages of student (ages 4 – 18)

• are committed to teaching individuals and groups

It would be seen as an advantage if you have any of the following: 

• Recognised lifeguard qualification and first aid certification (or willingness to complete as soon as possible – which the school will support with) 

• Emergency asthma and anaphylaxis management training

• A qualification linked to teaching sports in school (e.g. Bachelor’s Degree in sports/PE)

• Experience of teaching bilingual students

Additional selection criteria include:

• the ability to think consequentially

• excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• a strong team player with a willingness to co-teach

• respect for a diverse school culture and a fit with the ethos of Dyatmika

• a willingness to contribute to Extra Curricular Activities
