1. Develop and implement strategies to optimize the performance, scalability and reliability of the network infrastructure.

2. Oversee the timely design, deployment and maintenance of network equipment.

3. Ensure adherence to industry best practices and standards for network configuration, security and performance.

4. Implement network monitoring tools and processes to proactively identify and resolve network issues

5. Lead troubleshooting efforts for network incidents and outages, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact to customers.

6. Conduct root cause analysis for major network incidents and develop action plans to prevent recurrence.

7. Enforce network security policies and procedures to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches and other network threats.

8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

9. Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of network related products and services.

10. Evaluate vendor proposals, negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships to ensure cost effective solutions and high quality service.

11. Develop and manage the network operations and capital budget ensuring effective allocation of resources and cost optimization.

12. Identify and recommend network infrastructure upgrades, capacity planning and technology enhancements to support business growth.

Requirement

1. At least 15 years of experience in management of telecommunications networks and/or services.

2. Extensive technical experience applicable to supporting operational decisions.

3. Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronic, mechanical or communications engineering, computer science.

4. Minimum 10 years organizational and management experience and skills to lead large group of technical professionals
