One of coal mining company in South Kalimantan is looking for Mine Engineering Manager.

The company is seeking a highly experienced Mine Engineering Manager to lead their engineering team and drive operational excellence.

Description

As the Mine Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all engineering activities at the mine site. Your role will include strategic planning, managing mine design and development, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Key responsibilities include:

• Lead the design and implementation of mine plans, including short-term and long-term strategies to optimise coal extraction and resource utilisation.
• Oversee the execution of engineering projects, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve mining operations, increasing productivity while maintaining cost efficiency.
• Manage and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure all engineering activities comply with local regulations and industry standards, particularly regarding safety and environmental impact.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure smooth operations and project delivery.

Profile

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mining engineering, with a proven track record of success in similar roles within the coal mining industry. Key qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in mine engineering, and at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Extensive experience in coal mining operations, including mine planning, design, and project management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse engineering team.
• In-depth knowledge of Indonesian mining regulations and best practices in safety and environmental management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication skills, both in Bahasa Indonesia and English, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
