About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Merchandiser to join our team at Lucky More Indonesia. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and effective product displays in our retail stores, ensuring our products are presented in the most engaging and appealing way to customers. This full-time role is based in Teluknaga Banten, and you will play a key part in driving sales and enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.

What you’ll be doing

1. Develop and implement innovative merchandising plans to showcase our products in an attractive and visually appealing manner

2. Ensure store layouts and product placements are optimised to drive customer engagement and increase sales

3. Collaborate with the marketing team to align merchandising strategies with broader brand and promotional campaigns

4. Monitor stock levels and replenish products as needed to maintain full and appealing displays

5. Analyse sales data and customer feedback to continuously improve merchandising tactics

6. Train and guide store associates on best practices for product presentation and display maintenance

7. Maintain meticulous records and provide regular updates on merchandising activities and performance

8. Responsible for communicating with the supermarket manager to stock, restock, and maintain neat shelves according to display standards.

9. Install and maintain promotional materials (KT boards, price tags, hanging banners, roll-up banners, etc.).

10. Verify price tags with BPOM/Halal labels to ensure compliance and clarity.

11. Take photos in-store, upload before-and-after comparisons, and complete store inspection reports.

12. Assist with promotional activities, food tastings, and sales follow-up.

13. (Experience preferred) Responsible for applying for and negotiating display space, including shelf units, display cases, and checkout counters.

What we’re looking for

1. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Merchandiser or in a similar retail-focused role

2. Strong creative and design skills, with an eye for visual merchandising and product presentation

3. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to optimise store layouts and displays

4. Strong organisational and time management skills to efficiently manage multiple store locations

5. Passion for the retail industry and a deep understanding of consumer behaviour and trends

6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams

7. A team player with the ability to train and motivate store associates

8. Fluent in Indonesian, strong communication skills, proficient in WhatsApp, Maps, and Google Forms.

9. Possess a SIM C (motorcycle license), capable of field store inspections, able to lift 10–15 kg of materials and climb ladders.

10. Conscientious and punctual, able to work on weekends and holidays.

11. 2–5 years of experience in FMCG or modern channels (Indomaret/Alfamart/Hypermart).

12. Familiar with planograms, POSM, and point-of-sale negotiations, with experience leading teams.

13. Proficient in basic data statistics and store inspection reports.
