INTRODUCTION

Digital Performance Services, an up-and-coming digital agency based in Indonesia, is hiring. We are just over 3 years old, and have been growing consistently since we launched. We now have a range of clients, based in Asia and globally. Almost all our clients run regional or multi-market campaigns. The main focus for this role will be managing digital channels to power e-commerce, and we are looking for an experienced Social Media and Search Planner / Buyer to help us improve our delivery. We are looking someone with deep experience across both search and social.

ROLE SUMMARY

We need someone who can hit the ground running, picking up the implementation and media buying for global clients. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience working in other digital agencies. This candidate should also be Indonesian with fluent spoken and written English. They will report directly into the co-founders of the business, and take on a leadership role for key accounts, as well as managing the day-to-day delivery and media performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR MEDIA PLANNER.

·      Collaborate with clients and the account team to understand the client’s business objectives and advertising strategy.

·      Strategy to include recommendations, per platform (Search/Social), included but not limited to:

·      Budget recommendation (per market, per channel)

·      Creative messaging ideas (not copy, more examples of things to ‘talk about’)

·      Ad formats to leverage

·      Targeting methodology (taxonomies, RTG, LAL etc.)

·      Which markets to prioritize, based on the above (so client can ensure creative readiness from their side)

·      Work on several projects simultaneously, often for different clients.

·      Effectively communicate with the agency team, clients and partners to develop media strategies and campaigns.

·      Execute decisions on the best social media strategy for specific clients and campaigns.

·      Undertake research and analyse data using specialist industry resources.

·      Identify target audiences and analyse their characteristics, behaviour and media habits.

·      Present proposals, including detailed media plans, and campaign reports to clients in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR MEDIA PLANNER

Qualifications and Experience:

·      5+ years experience as a media planner or similar role.

·      Subject matter expertise / recognised strategic ability across PPC, and Social Media

·      Considerable knowledge of working in (or closely with) partner agency and client teams

·      Strategist and planner

·      Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

·      Working knowledge of social media and search reporting and analytics tools.

·      Ability to work effectively under pressure.

·      Strong analytical and organizational skills.

·      Ability to work with resources such as databases and spreadsheets, for the collection and management of information.

·      Deeply analytical mind with an aptitude for statistics and maths.
