Requirement:

• Degree in mechanical engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 4 – 5 years in the management of capital projects in petrochemical, manufacturing or minerals processing. 
• Well understand project management milestone from initial project to closing
• Post graduate qualifications in project management.
• PMP / MPM certification.
• Familiar with multiple discipline project.
• Familiar with revamping project.

Job Description:

• Alignment and governance of project team to ensure assigned projects achieve the required business objectives.
• Lead the planning and implementation of assigned projects. 
• Well familiar with project program.
• Monitor, document and report to key stakeholders on the progress and performance of the assigned projects.
• Ensure conformance to Orica SHES standards
• Strong execution focus. Proven ability to work autonomously and lead cross-functional and multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Serve as primary point of contact for the Asset Owner and stakeholder interface for all assigned projects, developing strong relationships and managing expectations.
• Commercial acumen in the development of cost effective and robust project delivery and engineering solutions to meet stakeholder requirements.
• Management of supplier/contractual relationships.
• Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills with emphasis on effective team work and personnel development. 
• Ensure compliance with project governance processes and procedures.
• Actively participate and contribute to improvement processes within the CM site/IS region PMO team and broader PMO team.

Role purpose: 

• Responsible for successful planning and implementation of assigned capital projects in order to support the Asset Owner and achieve business objectives.
• Manage external project managers, engineering teams and consultants. 
• Compliance with project Orica project governance requirements
