Marketing Manager, F&B (Indonesia)
As the focus position in Indonesia handling all Marketing activities spearheading capability development, you will be responsible for building capabilities development by identifying key innovation opportunities & drive the same to enhance Symrise speed to market while strengthening portfolio through well-defined projects and crafting the winning sales story through insights. In return, you will be connected to various challenging yet exciting projects in a highly collaborative working environment with supportive colleagues here at Symrise.
The Position:
Capability Development
• Identify Innovation opportunities/initiatives & drive the same to enhance Symrise speed to market.
• Strengthen portfolio to be able to respond more effectively to market/customer needs, especially for focus categories across Indonesia
• Be a core member to drive & execute Innovation Day/workshops with key customers to showcase capability.
Strategic Development
• Marketing potential determination and Category opportunity mapping to identify white space for Symrise to focus, develop and win.
• Develop/define together with Commercial Head for Annual Category Development Plan.
• Develop annual Key Customer Development Plan together with Sales to develop and win on both core segments and innovations.
• Facilitate Challenger Sales Pitch through providing brand, market, consumer & customer insights for rollouts (including competencies, products, innovation day & AOP/IGP rollouts) and initiatives for sales team & broader commercial team.
Roll-Out & Insights Execution
• Based on Plan, identify key areas of support needed from region and collaborate with Regional Category Director (IGP & AOP) to leverage existing capability and regional roll-out.
• Identify consumer trends and leverage the same in positioning Symrise competencies, especially for key categories.
• Decode and translate Customer Information & Insights for crafting the winning sales story, customer value proposition for Symrise Flavor Solutions for identified and agreed opportunities.
• Monitor and track progress of the roll-out, as well as highlight the corrective actions required and decision to be made.
The Ideal Candidate:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Marketing or related disciplines.
• Min 8 years of experience in relevant industries such as Flavors, Food Ingredients with experience as Category, Marketing, or handling Consumer Research/Market Data Research with research agencies/in-house research analysis roles.
• Good understanding of the food industry & FMCG Company with Food Manufacturing.
• Does possess an effective and compelling presentation and storytelling capabilities.
• Able to create persuasive and precise multimedia content (PowerPoint, Brochure or Online Posts) to generate leads for our products.
• Ability to translate abstract data and insights into meaningful customer and market relevant insights, value proposition and leads for internal stakeholders.
• Team player with strong sense of co-coordination, entrepreneur spirit and drive for excellence.
• Equipped with strong interpersonal and communications skills, fluent in both verbal and written English & Bahasa Indonesia.
• Posses strong Project & Process Management exposure, working and coordinating regional insights and marketing activities will be an added advantage.
