About the Department The GLP-1 team in Novo Nordisk Indonesia consists of highly motivated people who are passionate about changing diabetes and obesity and in close collaboration with other internal stakeholders. We educate our customers on our products and more importantly the disease area. We help them to make the right choices for their patients, building relationships based on mutual respect, honesty and business ethic. We focus on execution, leadership, trust and accountability and strive to be a high performing team. We are proud of our company heritage, our life changing products, and the difference we make.

You will report to the Business Unit Director of GLP-1.

This position is located in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The Position As a Market Development Manager you will collaborate with local management and external stakeholders to design and implement strategies and tactics to improve understanding of obesity as a chronic disease, to improve quality of care and to develop our reputation as a trusted partner in Obesity. This would include developing key Stakeholder Engagement Plan, Policy Shaping Strategies, Value-based communication for Obesity management, Strategies in optimizing market development and shaping the local healthcare environment.
 

Qualifications

• You have a minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Medical or similar. MBA is an advantage.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive healthcare/pharmaceutical experience is required.
• Strong business understanding and firm grasp of healthcare macroenvironment with excellent networking and engagement capability.
• Strong strategic mindset and ability to identify and evaluate partnership opportunities.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English is a must.
