About the role

PT LIMYINGYING GROUP INDONESIA is seeking a full-time Mandarin translator to join our team in Sukoharjo, Central Java. As a Mandarin translator, you will play a crucial role in facilitating seamless communication and collaboration between our organisation and our Chinese-speaking partners and clients.

What you’ll be doing

  • Providing accurate and timely translations of a variety of documents, including contracts, reports, emails, and other business communications, between Mandarin and Indonesian/English

  • Interpreting during meetings, presentations, and other business interactions with Chinese-speaking stakeholders

  • Ensuring the cultural appropriateness and nuance of translated materials

  • Maintaining a database of translated terms and phrases to ensure consistency across projects

  • Collaborating with team members to understand context and determine the most suitable translation approaches

  • Staying up-to-date with industry terminology and language trends

What we’re looking for

  • Fluency in Mandarin and Indonesian/English, with the ability to translate between the languages with a high degree of accuracy

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in all three languages

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the quality and consistency of translations

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Familiarity with translation software and computer-assisted translation tools

  • Experience in a similar translation role, preferably within a business or commercial setting
