Job Description & Summary

A career within Capital Markets Accounting Advisory Services, will provide you with the opportunity to be responsible for complex financial reporting issues around deals and other transformational events. You’ll tackle client’s needs with a solution oriented approach that creatively addresses complex financial reporting problems for high profile transactions and you’ll have significant interaction with senior company management teams, bankers, lawyers and other advisers.

As an Experienced Manager and Experienced SeniManager, you will interact with clients directly as well as collaborate with a diverse group of talented professionals in other Lines of Service within PwC to deliver a unique, pragmatic solution for our clients. Other responsibilities will include:

  • Lead multiple audit engagement teams whose clients are preparing for fund raisings (IPO, rights issues and bond offerings). This will include the review of offering documents and other deliverables such as comfort letter.

  • Advising on complex transactions including IPOs (incl Dual Listings), IPO Readiness, SPACs and Debt/Equity financing. 

  • Develop and coordinate a service approach and team leveraging other lines of service within PwC.

  • Ensure that the team understands requirements and scope of the engagement and executes appropriately.

  • Advise on technical accounting and financial reporting solutions supported by US GAAP, IFRS or Indonesian FAS while being practical and aiming to exceed expectations of multiple client decision makers.

  • Build strong professional relationships with regulators and other advisors (underwriters, legal counsels)

  • Supervise, coach and mentor junior team members. Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback and training

  • Strengthen client relationships and generate additional engagement opportunities through excellent quality, timely execution and strategic approach to service delivery.

  • Support growth efforts through pursuit of new opportunities, market research and network within and outside the firm.

  • Enthusiastically leads the preparation of thought leadership materials and branding events

Desired skills & experiences

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Advanced degree preferred (CPA or MBA)
  • Rated top 25% of a Big 4 class (international exposure a plus)
  • Approximately 8-10 years for Senior Manager and 6-8 years for Manager of work experience, including a minimum of 2-3 years as audit manager
  • Solid experience and knowledge of IPOs (IDX, dual listings, conventional IPOs, SPACs), IPO preparation and bond offerings; experience in digital, e-commerce and healthcare sectors a huge advantage
  • Strong technical skills on local capital market regulations, including offerings under Rule 144A and Regulation S, comfort letters and experience in dealing with underwriters and lawyers.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills (English and Bahasa Indonesia)
  • Ability to project manage efficiently and effectively
  • Entrepreneurial, hard-working, detail oriented with the ability to motivate engagement teams
  • Industry experience of familiarity with financial operation a plus
  • Having ESG exposure and experience (e.g. ESG IPO readiness roadmap) is an advantage
