Job Description :

  • Oversee and checks Import Declarations (PIB) prior to submission to customers; and double-checks all documents prior to EDII transfer.
  • Directs the Import Supervisors, Operation Supervisor, CS staffs, and Operation; identifies problematic areas and implements strategic solutions in the time.
  • Checks and ensures the completeness of invoices and job files from CS
  • Coordinates and organizes daily and weekly meetings to solve problems and evaluate teamwork as well as ensure the smooth process of import shipments and customer billing in accordance with the set target.
  • Finds out the latest regulations with respect to the interests of the company and customers.
  • Evaluates teamwork and takes the necessary corrective actions to improve work result and achieve the targets as stated in the performance indicators.
  • Oversee container deposit recovery and checks the validity of all port billing attachments.
  • Controlling import documents to be granted to the Customs & follow up for the red line & yellow line and other issues related to the export import.
  • Minimize for under table payments and is required to be nil in this year because our company has to follow compliance regulations.
  • Control and visit Customs in Tanjung Priok or Head Office to ensure problem solving by the operational team in the field.
  • Monitoring Submission of IMP MANIFEST to BC
  • Control Invoicing Process to Customer using System.
  • Ensure staff (CS) carry out work related to export documents, both determined by Customs and Excise in the country of loading or destination (AFR / AMS) or shipping line (Final SI / Submit Manifest) and pre-alert for the agent in accordance with specified rules and targets.
  • Checking the documents and ensuring that staff (CS) inform data to the shipper / customer, shipping, field operations, trucking vendors and agents for all activities or data relating to the delivery schedule both the stuffing process, closing CY / Doc, PEB / NPE , revision BL, Manifest, AFR / AMS, and pre-alerts correctly.
  • Monitoring of processes outside the main work such as cancellation of PEB, Restitution, Redress Manifest if needed, Extend Closing CY or Documents, requesting permission for the purpose of Re-export, Temporary Export and others for fulfillment of the Agent or Customer request.
  • Make a COO report given at the end of every month to the Accounting and Finance

Job Qualification :

  • Min. 5 years working experience in import management role
  • Strong knowledge of national and international shipping regulations.
  • Hold PPJK certificate, and any other Export Import licenses
  • Demonstrated high analytical thinking, data driven and good business understanding
  • Strong leadership, market intelligence, great stakeholder management and high influencing skills
  • Confident and fluent communicate in English and Bahasa Indonesia
  • Computer proficiency (Ms Words & Excel, Data Base/Information System)
