Manager CHPP – Jetty Supra Bara Energi – Berau

1.      Responsible for the full spectrum of CHPP operations, ensuring optimal plant  Rom coal, Crusher (Primary & secondary), Coal Processing, Loading (BLC) and performance and coal quality.

2.      Handling Jetty – Implement strategies for process optimization and continuous improvement efficiency and optimizing Process crushing & Loading to meet the Target.

3.      Handling Rom Coal with segregated coal Quality. Manage a diverse team, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and high performance and on time loading.

4.      Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align CHPP objectives with overall project goals. Closely working with coal production/ operation crew next door.

5.      Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations

6.      Interfacing regularly with aligned departments to optimize safety, maintenance and production efficiencies

7.      Manage Projects and budgets to deadlines achived.

     Qualification & Experience –

Duties & Responsibilities:

• The Coal Processing Plant department is responsible for 4 main functions, including ROM and Crushing plant operation, Conveyor loading (Overland & jetty) and Transshipment Operation.

• Determine the implementation of system maintenance in accordance with best practices, namely: Preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance and continuous maintenance.

• Determine and make budged as well as budged expenses for the appropriate months and years that apply every year.

• Provide training and development opportunities for Supervisors and employees to carry out their job responsibilities, expand their skills and increase their awareness of technical issues.

• Conduct annual evaluations for all CPP employees related to promotions, increase salary, and training issues.

• Determine stockpile management for certain qualities for cargo shipment preparation.

• Provide analysis and problem-solving skills in budgeting and schedule maintenance decision-making.

• Decide on the organizational structure of the department to be efficient and effective in managing all CPP operations.

• Ensure and supervise the implementation of sections in CPP so that they run in accordance with their functions and provide high profitability to the company’s development, plan and lead CPP meetings, communicate CPP’s work program to management, communicate CRB’s policies in CPP management to contractors, report all CPP activities to management.

• Manages and monitors the Department’s budget to plan expenses, check actual costs against the plan and meet objectives, within financial parameters.

• Monitor and review the Department’s performance and facilities, assess performance against targets, ensure functions performed are consistent with the overall business processes and objectives of operations and employees comply with the Company’s safety standards.

• Highlight coal quality issues and contribute to effective operations in the Department.

• Manage, assess and evaluate Supervisors to provide them with individual feedback, improve their professional development and improve the effectiveness of the Coal processing plant.

• Initiating and supervising specific projects, from the Department’s perspective, to meet operational needs, meet business targets and improve plant effectiveness.

• Ensure the stockpile ROM is related to Quality classification.

• Ensure stockpile operations, schedule and product Crushing Plant and quality (blending).

• Ensure the Shipment process runs according to the SOP.

 1.     Min 8-10 years  experience in a similar role as CHPP Manager  with extensive experience in an operational coal mining environment

2.    Age Group 35-40 years, Male or Female

3.    Relevant tertiary Berau, East Kalimantan or equivalent experience in coal processing, S-1 Bidang Mechanical, or Electrical from reputed University.

4.    Ability to effectively establish and maintain relationships with internal

 and external Parties like Barrage loading & Quality control by  Succofindo.

 5.    Ability to influence and implement strategic and cultural change

6.    Demonstrated ability to manage projects to budget and deadlines

7.    Demonstrated experience managing risk within a mining or heavy industrial environment

8.    Demonstrated experience with the implementation of continuous improvement methodologies

9.    Exceptional written and oral communication skills
