About the Role:

Responsible for the on time and at cost execution of Preventive and Predictive Maintenance procedures running on a CMMS under SAP, specifically on Mechanical and electrical related work orders on process, plant equipment, facilities and building. This role is also responsible for the efficient and cost-effective operation of the plant steam generator boiler, air compressors, chiller in support of the manufacturing activity, in accordance with the mandated methods by regulation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Executes the planned maintenance or PM activity as well as possible breakdown maintenance for the day or shift as approved work procedures and resource.
• Endeavours to complete each PM or maintenance work at the specified period of time in aide of maximizing plant uptime. 
• Makes sure all plant equipment maintenance records are accurate and up to date for ease in analysis of the concerned.
• Helps ensure all process equipment and utilities in support of manufacturing are available at all times.
• Help in setting up company mandated quality and food safety systems and maintain continued certification to acquired Standards thereof
• Participates in process variance investigation as well as in productivity and quality improvement projects together with colleagues in other departments
• Helps ensure the reliability, functionality and on time calibration of process equipment and process utilities.
• Will be able to do in-plant and off-plant supplier or system audits
• Practices good maintenance practice, work safety and housekeeping procedures in accordance with SSHE, food safety and quality policies of the plant

Qualification and Skills:

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Senior High School or Diploma
• Relevant experience of at least 5 years total in a Flavour, food ingredient or process manufacturing plant
• Understanding of product certification programs such as Kosher, Halal
• Awareness on FSSC 22000, HACCP, SPC and AIB product safety system
• Understands GMP and Plant sanitary design criteria
• Knowledge of food and facility security requirements
• Awareness on PM/PdM execution and Utilities operation in a SAP ERP is a plus
• Good in oral and written communication
