DIMENSIONS OF THE POSITION:

Specialist Sales Logistics is responsible to provide operational support for the logistics and distribution of refined metals (through containers, break bulk), acid products (via chemical tanker), precious metals secure logistics and other by-products, ensuring the smooth handling of sales logistics activities. This role focuses on assisting with day-to-day logistics operations, inventory co-ordination, customer coordination, and supporting the supervisor in meeting logistics objectives.

PURPOSE:

• To support daily logistics operations for refined metals and acid and other by-products, ensuring timely deliveries, accurate inventory management, and effective customer communication. 

• To assist in documentation, compliance, vendor coordination, and data tracking, contributing to smooth logistics processes and operational efficiency.

Essential Duties

• Assist in the daily logistics operations for refined metals (through containers, break bulk), acid products (via chemical tanker), precious metals secure logistics and other by-products, including the coordination of transportation and delivery schedules.

• Support the logistics team in ensuring timely and accurate product deliveries to customers.

• Help monitor inventory levels of refined metals and acid, ensuring that stock levels are accurate and updated.

• Assist with maintaining proper records of stock movements and coordinating with warehouse teams for product dispatches.

• Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules, shipment statuses, and any logistics-related inquiries.

• Support the supervisor in resolving logistics issues such as delays, damaged goods, or discrepancies in shipments.

• Prepare and maintain shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs paperwork.

• Ensure all logistics processes comply with internal policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Assist in coordinating with logistics vendors and transportation companies for shipment pickups and deliveries.

• Help maintain communication with vendors to ensure service quality and resolve any operational issues.

• Assist in tracking logistics performance data, including delivery times, shipment accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

• Provide regular updates to the supervisor on logistics operations and report any issues or delays.

• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS: 

1. Education bachelor’s in marketing, Business administration or related

2. Experiences : 2-3 years of experience in Marketing Logistic or a related

3. Skills: 

• Good communication skills both in Indonesian and English

• Analytical & problem-solving skill

• Business & Administration skill

• Able to manage time effectively & tasks priority

• Attention to detail and has a commitment 

• Understand Laytime calculation (Despatch Demurrage)

• Understand freight calculation

• Understand shipping documents (BL,NOR,SOF,COO etc)

• Understand the flow process from Mining to Smelter operation/product

• Be able to operate computer (Excel,Word,Power Point, Outlook)
