About the role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Logistic Team Leader to join our dynamic team at PT Asahimas Flat Glass Tbk’, based in Cikampek, West Java. As a full-time Logistic Team Leader, you will play a vital role in overseeing the efficient and effective coordination of our logistics operations, ensuring the seamless delivery of our products to our valued customers.

What you’ll be doing

• Manage and lead a team of logistics personnel to achieve operational excellence
• Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of all logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution
• Optimise logistics processes and workflows to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align logistics strategies with overall business objectives
• Monitor and analyse logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
• Provide training and development opportunities for the logistics team to enhance their skills and knowledge

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain management role, preferably in the manufacturing or transportation industry
• Diploma 3 degree in Industrial Engineering reputable college/ polytechnic
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement
• Proficient in logistics-related software and technologies, such as transportation management systems and inventory management systems
• Thorough understanding of logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across different departments
• Relevant tertiary qualification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
